This list of active practitioners (holding a current practising certificate), and inactive practitioners is updated weekly. Please contact the Registrar if you have a query related to the Register or a particular practitioner.

If you are looking for a Optometrist Prescriber, capable of prescribing ophthalmic medicines, the words Optometrist (TPA endorsement) will show as their scope of practice.

The full Register is available for inspection at the Board's office in Wellington and copies may be purchased.

The Board does its best to maintain the accuracy of the Register, but if you believe the information to be incorrect please contact us.

Practitioners must promptly inform the Board of address changes.
